This book, Ubuntu by Boakye D. an actual page-turner
This book, unlike most Wattpad books, is an actual page-turner and by page-turner, I mean a high command of English and a captivating story with an eye glueing introduction.
A captivating piece with vivid imagery.
A captivating piece with vivid imagery. I like how as you read, you can totally feel yourself there with Anaya and the other characters. Absolutely amazing, the description is perfect with an intriguing storyline.
There is a lot of description in the prologue with clear visuals of the scene.
The prologue is certainly interesting. I don’t know who chills out at the graveyard to watch people but to each their own. We all have our little quirks that make us thick.
I do find it interesting that the owl represents bad omens, propelling Anaya to run as if her life depends on it, landing her in her predicament that opens chapter one.
There is a lot of description in the prologue with clear visuals of the scene. I can vividly imagine that action sequence toward the end of the prologue, which isn’t always easy to weave into prose.
